2006 Up Dates

Not a good year for the Fryer team!!!!! If it was going to happen it has happend. Motors have been one of the big problems along with crash problems. Motors blowed one motor, had to be completly rebuilt. Same motor burhed four pistons, had to replace. Broken push rods at another races. Had to replace all the rocker arms. Now for the body and fram another drive lost control of his car and drove acrooss the front end on Mike's car, done for the night. Because he spun Mike out and another car behind ran into Mike. Had to replace a lot of body parts, rearend had to be rebuilt. Opp's another motor problem, this one ins in the hauler. Burned a piston, hauler layed up for two weeks.

New up date July 8th. Mike was doing hot laps. The track was very fast. Mike was turning laps of 20.6 which is the fastes Mike has ever turned at Freeport. Yep in the middle of 3&4 the car slides up to the wall. Not good!!!!!! Ralph said it was must damage they have ever had on a stock car, in all their years of racing. Fram is bent, A arms are all bent, Drive shaft bent, body dammage all right side, exust manifold smashed, rearend not sure of till they take it apart. NOT LOOKING GOOD!!!!But they will carry on, next week Bob is going to look at a new hauler to replace the old Ford box truck.

It has been astruggle but Mike if running 4th. in points standings at Freeport.

In the feature after a yellow flag there was a restart. Coming out of turn one Mike was on the inside of row six when the green flag came out. Someone either missed a gear or stepped on the breaks, because the cars in front of him didn't move. He hit the car in front of him Matt Rodebaugh. Matt drove away with little damage. But Mike lost the radiator, and was done for the night.

Mike started from the second row out side. He was running his white car tonight. He finished the feature in 5th. place. Dan Shelliam was the winner.

Sept.19. 2004

Farley Iowa, Yakee Dirt Track Classic

Mike was not able to make the big feature. He did run in the Auto Acers 25 lap feature, He finsihed 5th.

Oct.2nd.

The first ever 100 Lap race which they called the "Rumble by the River" . Mike made the feature with out having to run a consi race. He had never raced in a 100 laps race before.. But he did very good finished the 100 laps and came in 12th.

Oct. 9th.

Last race of the year at Freeport Raceway Park, should have been called the "Rumble by the Yellow Creek" Mike finised his heat race in 3rd. then Finished 4th. in the feature. It was a good night for the Performance Automotive team.
